Browse the contractor directory

The contractor directory lists Vancouver Island trade businesses. You can search by name and filter by trade and community, so you can look for businesses working in the trades you need.

Each listing is clearly labelled. Listings marked “Claimed” are managed by a contractor account on the site. Listings marked “Unclaimed” come from publicly available business information — those businesses have not joined or endorsed Van Isle Trades Hub.

Post a job and get bids

If you know the work you need done, post a job describing it. Contractors with accounts on the site can review your job and send you their price and a note.

You compare the bids on your own jobs page and choose the contractor you want to work with. Posting a job is free, and you can also browse open jobs to see how postings are written.

A note about unclaimed listings

Unclaimed listings in the directory have not joined or endorsed Van Isle Trades Hub. Their information comes from publicly available business information, and those businesses can’t receive bids or messages here. To receive bids, a business creates its own contractor account and claims its listing.
